Krabi
Krabi is a world-class holiday destination where you will never run out of things to do or see. There are limitless opportunities for fun and adventure and excursions to many of the popular attractions on the nearby islands.
Villa Macaque and Villa Languor are surrounded by three beaches; two of them are often mentioned amongst the best beaches of Southeast Asia. Railay Beach is famously well-known and is also considered one of the best rock-climbing destinations in the world, while Phra Nang Beach is celebrated for its beautiful soft white sand and view overlooking nearby Koh Rang Nok. Both villas offer spectacular views to Koh Poda and Koh Kai (Chicken Island) islands.
With its perfect white sand and calm shallow water for swimming, Phra Nang is quite possibly the perfect beach. Two small islands suitable for snorkelling and exploring are located a short distance offshore. At either end of the beach are breathtaking limestone karsts covered in thick tropical vegetation. At one end of the beach, in the base of the limestone karst, is the sacred Princess Cave where local fishermen make phallic offerings to the goddess of the sea for safe travel.
There are no roads here and that adds a large part to the charm of adopting the slow beach life. Access to the peninsula is by a short long-tail boat or private speedboat ride which will deliver you a few steps away from the front door of your villa. The only other development on the beach is the very exclusive Rayavadee Resort.
A short 10-minute walk will take you to Railay East or West Beach where you will find a selection of restaurants, bars and shops.
Enjoy the calmness of the beach in early morning and evening before it becomes a bustling hive of activity as a highly sought destination for day-trippers. Boats are the lifeblood of the region and several have been converted to floating food boats, selling tasty treats and cold drinks to the beachgoers. The distinctive wooden hulls and colourful garlands of the long-tail boats are symbolic of this region of Thailand.

Getting there
There are frequent daily flights between Bangkok and Krabi International Airport on numerous airlines including Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways. The flight time takes one hour.
On arrival, we can arrange a transfer for you by private van to Ao Nam Mao beach pier. The transfer time from the airport to the pier is 25 minutes. Once at the pier, there will be a long-tail boat to take you the final short 10 minute trip to the villa. A private speedboat can be arranged, at additional cost, if preferred.
If you are arriving by car into Krabi, then make your way to Ao Nam Mao beach pier. Take a long-tail boat to Phra Nang Beach. Please make sure you are in contact with us with regards to your arrival times so we can best prepare your arrangements.
Private boats are available from the Rayavadee Resort, and are able to drop you at Railay East pier (weather permitting), where you will be met by our villa staff to help with your luggage.

- From Ao Nam Mao pier (Krabi) to Krabi International Airport will take about 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
